Research vessel production to be completed soon

The manufacturing of a research vessel by the National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Authority (NARA) will be completed in the near future.
It was recently inspected by the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne.
The two research vessels belonging to NARA, Samudramaru and Sayuri, were destroyed by the tsunami.
They have provided a great service in research activities such as ocean research, research on fish and water changing and research in the seabed.
