15th Asian Junior Athletic Championship from June 9 to 12: Cream of Asian athletes to show colours here
Sri Lanka will host one of Asia’s major sports championships, the 15th Asian Junior Athletic Championship from June 9 to 12 at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo. It will showcase talents of over 900 Asian athletes from 36 countries in 44 track and field events. This was revealed during a discussion with the participation of Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage and Acting Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena at the Media Ministry auditorium yesterday.

Minister calls for report from SLC

Pakistan won’t have it easy in SL -Whatmore
Pakistan coach Dav Whatmore on Wednesday warned his players they faced a battle on next month's tour of Sri Lanka, saying the hosts were tough opponents in home conditions.
