Veteran author Ranjith Amarakeerthi Palihapitiya has embarked on a programme to write a biography of late Education Minister Dr Richard Pathirana to portray his life and times and services rendered to the nation.

Palihapitiya has the distinction of writing the biographies of several leading personalities including late Ministers Lalith Athulathmudali, Gamini Dissanayake and Lakshman Jayakody, late Prime Minister Dr W Dahanayake, late Arisen Ahubudu, Prof Senarath Paranavithana and Sri Chandraratne Manawasinghe. He has also penned the biography of maestro W D Amaradewa.

Palihapitiya is searching for persons and sources which could provide ideas, views, details, pictures, cartoons and other material relating to Dr Pathirana.
