Tiger Woods’s problems seem to be multiplying with the American media reporting the existence of a love child and sex tapes of the golfer.

According to the 'National Enquirer', Woods had fathered at least one child outside his marriage.

Friends of Elin Nordegren, however, have said, however, that the golfer’s wife planned to stay with him for the sake of their children. The American edition of People magazine has quoted Nordegren’s “friends” saying she is devastated by Woods’s alleged infidelities but plans to stay married. The couple, who married in 2004, have a daughter Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 10 months.

 “She is a child of divorce and that’s not something she’s likely to want to do to Sam and Charlie,” an unnamed friend told People.

Woods is reportedly ready to quit the game that made him a legend in a desperate bid to save his shattered marriage.

The world golf number one told wife Elin he "will do anything" after being linked with a string of women, The Sun reports.

Elin, 29, has agreed to stay with the 33-year-old billionaire star for the sake of their daughter Sam, two, and baby son Charlie.

But a friend told The Sun she has given him the stark ultimatum: "It's golf ... or me."

Swedish Elin, who could pocket up to $US100 million if she walks away, has drawn up a strict list of rules for Woods to follow if he wants to win her back.

The friend said: "The easy thing for Elin to do would be leave him, take the children and get a divorce. She'd never worry about money again.

"She was close to walking out for good. She decided to stay for the kids' sake - but on her terms.

"They have agreed to try and rebuild their marriage, but Elin will be the one calling the shots. It will be a long time before he's travelling the globe playing golf unless Elin's by his side.

"Tiger will have to work long and hard to ever get her to trust him again. Quitting golf shows he is willing to sacrifice something he loves so much to protect his family."

Meanwhile, Woods' lawyers last night took the extraordinary step of having London's High Court ban the publication of any nude photographs and videos of the golf champion.

Despite speculation sparked by the order, the shamed sportsman's lawyers told UK newspapers and blogs in a letter that it "should not be taken as any admission that any such photographs exist".

The letter continued: "In the event they do exist they may have been fabricated, altered, manipulated and/or changed to create the false appearance and impression that they are nude photographs of our client."

The step came as former VIP escort agency owner Michelle Braun said Woods paid her to set him up with women around the world, including Australia.
