Preparation: To load music from your computer onto your phone, you need:
- A computer running Microsoft™ Windows™ or Apple™ Macintosh™
- A USB cable

For Windows User: How to Sync, Put, Transfer Music or Songs to Motorola Atrix 4G?
Step1: Prepare your music/songs. Then ensure that Motorola Media Link (Windows Version) is installed on your PC. (Motorola Media Link Windows Version is a free PC software to connect Atrix 4G to your PC, then you can easily transfer, sync, manage, backup and share your phone’s content.)

Step2: With a memory card inserted and your Motorola Atrix 4G showing the Home screen, connect a Motorola micro USB cable from your phone's micro USB port to a USB port on your computer. Your Atrix 4G should display the USB icon in the status bar.

Step3: The Motorola MTP Interface screen will pop up on your computer. Click on Manage media on your device.
Note: If this pop-up doesn't appear, drag the Notification Panel DOWN, then touch USB connection and select Windows Media Sync.

Step4: Drag and drop the music to transfer into the Atrix 4G folder on the left, or the panel on the right.

Step5: Once you have moved your music, click on Start sync above the panel on the right.

Step6: Once the sync is complete, click Click here in the panel on the right to verify the sync content.

For Mac User: How to Sync, Put, Transfer Music or Songs to Motorola Atrix 4G?
Step1: Prepare your music/songs. Then ensure that Motorola Media Link (Mac Version) is installed on your Mac. (Motorola Media Link Mac version is a free software download that connects your Atrix 4G to your Mac, then you can easily sync your phone with iTunes and iPhoto, backup all of your Atrix’s media content is easy too.)

Step2: Put your Motorola Atrix 4G into “USB Debugging Mode”. To do it, go to “Applications”—> “Settings” –> “Applications” –> “Development” –> and check the box “USB debugging”.

Step3: Connect your Motorola Atrix 4G to the computer using USB Cable. Make sure you do not mount your phone’s SD card.

Step4: Launch Motorola Media Link Mac software, select the Music tab to display settings. And then choose the "Sync to Device" tab.

Step5: Check "Sync Music to my device" and choose to sync "All playlists" or "Selected playlists." Music will be copied to your device on the next sync.
