Sri Lankan men’s wear label launched at Kimaya at upmarket UB City, Bangalore
Its design philosophy is simple: classic, tropical and local. And now, Stringhopper, a men’s wear label designed, created and manufactured in Sri Lanka has made its debut in Bangalore, India.
Stringhopper was first launched at the HSBC Colombo Fashion Week 2009 and showed a strong collection at this year’s HSBC CFW 2010. Located next to Ermenegildo Zegna, Ferragamo and opposite Louis Vuitton, Kimaya the prestigious multibrand high-end Indian retailer launched the new Sri Lankan label, Stringhopper with an evening of fashion and wine to its customers and Bangalore’s elite.
Stringhopper also proudly carries the label of ‘Garments without Guilt’ on their ‘Conscience’ Collection, a point which appeals to the growing breed of ethical shoppers. Stringhopper is manufactured at a Sri Lanka apparel ‘Garments without Guilt’ certified factory and its Conscience collection is made of organic cotton.
Stringhopper’s new collection is currently on display for sale at Colombo Workshop, 32 Ward Place, Colombo 7. See www.stringhopper.lk for more information.
